CASTELL DE VELL LLOC

The Sauvignon blanc is labelled under the name "Castell de Vell Lloc" is the brand for our Sauvignon blanc. The "Castell de Vell Lloc" (or Bell Lloc) is a middle age castle dated back to the X th century, it is considered a symbol and the origin of the town of Sant Pere de Ribes.
The vineyards around the Masia La Serra, in one of the most preserved areas of the Penedes have beared fruit from the year 1540 with a single family seal.
The farming methods are the traditional ones inforced by organic farming certification. The Sauvignon blanc has remained partially in the oak cascs with the yeast. It reveales forest aromas: fennel, anise and white flowers.

Soon a 1997 rosé will be available.
